Use the Fall to Market Your Home

The fall can be a beautiful time of year, with changing leaves and festivities such as Thanksgiving and Halloween. We encourage sellers to decorate their house accordingly but don’t over do it.

- Fill your home with the aromas of the season by baking cookies or apple pie. Smells can trigger memories and emotions helping the buyer to feel comfortable and begin envisioning their lives in your home.

- Pumpkins can be a nice touch around Halloween

What Not To Do:

- Avoid distasteful Halloween decorations.

- If you like to make your home a haunted house, we recommend holding off until the last minute. These decorations can take away from the beautiful features of your home causing you to miss out on potential buyers.

- Some people don’t like Halloween and might get turned off at the sight of skeletons and vampires.
